Turkey Tail Healing Broth

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried turkey tail mushroom extract
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken or tofu (optional)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (such as carrots, peas, and corn)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  3. Stir in the dried turkey tail mushroom extract and cook for a minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Add the diced cooked chicken or tofu (if using) and mixed vegetables. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Ladle into bowls, garnish with fresh parsley or dill, and enjoy the healing properties of turkey tail.
